Mr. Bayens has been with Digital Lightwave since 2006. He has attained the Certified Management Account (CMA) certification. He has in excess of 30 years financial management experience in a variety of industries, including property management, long haul trucking, manufacturing and refrigeration sales, installation & repair service.

Mo Karimi

Director of Operations

Mr. Karimi joined Digital Lightwave in September 1997 as a Senior System Test Engineer and was promoted to his current  director-level position in 2002. Previously he served as a System Engineer for Paradyne, AT&T and Lucent Corporations. He received his Electrical Engineering degree while serving in the Navy.

Doyle Mills

Director of Product Marketing

Mr. Mills joined Digital Lightwave in September 1996 as the first technical support engineer. With extensive experience in field deployment, he was uniquely qualified to help Digital Lightwave customers. Through his tenure in Digital Lightwave, Mr. Mills has performed numerous roles including Training Manager, International Sales Support Engineer and Director of Installation Services. He was promoted to his current role in 2006. 

Thomas Newhart

Mr. Newhart and his sales team have developed and executed successful sales and distribution strategies which have established a strong presence for Digital Lightwave in new areas as well as maintained relationships with existing customers.

Mr. Newhart has been an integral part of Digital Lightwave’s sales leadership since he joined the company in 2004.  After serving his country as a Submarine Officer during Operation Desert Storm, he started his telecom equipment career in the fiber and cable industry with Siecor (a subsidiary of Corning, Inc.).  Prior to joining Digital Lightwave, Tom spent three years as the National Sales Manager for PerkinElmer Optoelectronics’ optical test equipment group.  He is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a licensed professional engineer.

Michael Weldon

Mr. Weldon, based in the UK, manages a network of Digital Lightwave distributors throughout 27 European countries and Israel as well as our service centers throughout the region. Digital Lightwave maintains a strong and expanding presence in the region.

Mr. Weldon has over 20 years of experience in international business. In his 16 years before joining Digital Lightwave, he worked in the telecommunications test business where he managed distribution channels in Europe as well as Southeast Asia, Australasia and Africa. He has extensive knowledge and contacts throughout the region.

Sharon Bayly

Business Development Manager 

Ms. Bayly has been with Digital Lightwave since 1998. Beginning as a Customer Development Representative, she advanced through the levels of sales management through diligence, professionalism and establishing a rapport with customers. She was promoted to Business Development Manager in 2003.

Mike Botham

Director of Engineering

Mr. Botham joined the company in 2002 as part of an acquisition of the Broadband Transmission Test Division of Tektronix and was promoted to Director of Engineering in 2006. Prior to joining Digital Lightwave, he served as Hardware Engineering Manager for Tektronix and as Principal Engineer and Project Manager for Teradyne. Mr. Botham is named as the inventor in patents held by both Tektronix and Teradyne. Mr. Botham studied Electrical Engineering at the Univ. of Wisconsin, Madison.
