ServicePATH TM is a sophisticated plug-and-play service intelligence software system that can collect and synthesize data from Digital Lightwave hardware, carrier networks, business process and OSS systems. The system identifies anomalies as they occur, pinpointing their cause and analyzing their effects on services and the business. Furthermore, ServicePATH can automatically initiate corrective actions to ensure optimum service delivery and customer satisfaction. Using the Service Modeling feature, ServicePATH establishes a model of a service that abstracts it from its underlying resources (such as infrastructure, operational systems and business processes). Service modeling incorporates ServicePATHs advanced service synthesis capabilities allows users to define and associate key performance indicators (KPI) with a service. Examples include network and application performance indicators such as jitter, round trip delay or business process metrics such as mean time to restore (MTTR). Service Assessment compares measured service indicators against pre-defined service objectives in real time. If service objectives are not met, service alerts are generated, triggering an associated policy action. ServicePATH's intelligent Assurance can automatically restore service in the event of service degradation.
