Robert F. Hussey

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Hussey has served on Digital Lightwave’s board of directors since 1999. As Chief Restructuring Advisor, his guidance has enabled Digital Lightwave to resize to meet the demands of a changing global telecommunications marketplace. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2006 and was reinstated in March of 2010. He is a seasoned financial, marketing and operations executive with a recent focus on advising private equity and institutional investors on their portfolio company investments.

Thomas Newhart

Vice President of Sales

Mr. Newhart has been an integral part of Digital Lightwave’s sales leadership since he joined the company in 2004. After serving his country as a Submarine Officer during Operation Desert Storm, he started his telecom equipment career in the fiber and cable industry with Siecor (a subsidiary of Corning, Inc.). Prior to joining Digital Lightwave, Tom spent three years as the National Sales Manager for PerkinElmer Optoelectronics’ optical test equipment group. He is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a licensed professional engineer.

Mr. Newhart and his sales team have developed and executed successful sales and distribution strategies which have established a strong presence for Digital Lightwave in new areas as well as maintained relationships with existing customers.
